Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

4 slices, sugar-free bacon, cooked and crumbled

1/4 c. pickled jalapenos, chopped

2 oz. cream cheese – softened

1/2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided

How to make Air Fryer Jalapeno Popper Hasselback Chicken

Step 1: Place the bacon, cream cheese, jalapenos, and 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese in a medium bowl. Mix well until blended.

Step 2: Across the top of the chicken, cut about 6 slits. Make sure not to cut all the way through.

Step 3: Into the slits, stuff the cream cheese mixture.

Step 4: In an air fryer basket, place the chicken. Set the air fryer to 350 degrees for 15 minutes. On top of the chicken, sprinkle the rest of the cheese at the last minute of cooking.

Notes:

Depending on the air fryer, the cooking time varies.

Instead of pickled jalapeno, you can use finely diced fresh jalapeno.
