Healthy, quick, and tasty weeknight dinner. This Air Fryer Salmon is one of my favorite menu rotations. It’s convenient with amazing flavors. For a complete meal, serve the salmon with a starchy side such as mashed potatoes or tortellini Alfredo. Make sure not to miss out on this easy air fryer recipe.

Ingredients

2 teaspoons rub with love salmon rub (or any other kind you like)

2 salmon fillets about 6 ounces each

1 garlic clove

1 tablespoon Olive oil

Salt to taste

How to make Air Fryer Salmon

Step 1: Drizzle the salmon fillets with olive oil and sprinkle with pressed garlic, salmon rub, and salt. If making homemade salmon rub, mix 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1/4 tsp thyme, 1 tsp smoked paprika, and 1 tsp brown sugar.

Step 2: Using foil, line the bottom of the baking sheet (if using an air fryer oven). Do not use foil if using the basket type. Instead, grease the bottom using a nonstick spray.

Step 3: Place the salmon in the oven and bake for about 10 to 15 minutes at 400 degrees F (if using an oven air fryer). Or bake for at least 12 minutes if using the basket type. Adjust the cooking time depending on the thickness of the salmon fillet. Once the internal temperature of the thickest part of the salmon reaches at least 145 degrees F, the salmon is done.

Notes:

Make sure to pick salmon fillet with similar sizes so they cook evenly and finishes baking time at the same time.

So the spices adhere better, make sure to pat the fillets dry using a paper towel.

Using a meat thermometer, check the doneness of the fillets (internal temperature should reach at least 145 degrees F).

Serve the salmon fillets with starchy sides such as creamy mashed potatoes or tortellini Alfredo.
