My family loves this baked cream cheese spaghetti casserole. This is an excellent make-ahead dish. Prep in advance and store in the fridge or freeze until ready to bake. If you are looking for another pasta dish to add to your menu rotation this baked cream cheese spaghetti casserole is a perfect option. Quick to make and seriously delicious!

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef

1 (26-ounces) jar of prepared spaghetti sauce

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

12 ounces spaghetti

1 clove garlic, minced

½ c. Parmesan cheese, grated

1 (8 ounces) package cream cheese, room temperature

HOW TO MAKE BAKED CREAM CHEESE SPAGHETTI CASSEROLE

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Add the ground beef to a skillet and cook until completely cooked. Drain the excess grease when done and add the spaghetti sauce. Stir well and set aside.

Step 3: Following the package directions, cook the spaghetti. Drain when done and transfer the cooked spaghetti to a bowl. To the bowl, add the cream cheese, Italian Seasoning, and minced garlic. Stir well until the cream cheese has melted and the spaghetti is evenly coated.

Step 4: Into the bottom of a lightly greased 9 x 13-inch pan, spread a small amount of meat sauce. On top, place the spaghetti followed by the rest of the meat sauce. Then, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Step 5: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes until bubbly.

Notes:

You can make this casserole ahead of time and just keep it in the fridge or freeze it for later.

You may need to add a couple of minutes to the cooking time if baking after refrigerating.

Thaw the frozen casserole completely, then bake as instructed above.

Thaw completely before reheating. Tent using aluminum foil and bake for about 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees F until heated through.
