BAKED CREAM CHEESE SPAGHETTI

Cheesy and creamy – this baked cream cheese spaghetti is comfort food at its finest! This is one of the best noodle dishes you’ll ever make! And of course, the easiest!

This casserole is the best kind. This is not diet-friendly nor skinny or light. This casserole is chock-full of goodness! With the perfectly seasoned meat layer and tons of melted cheese. I love serving this with a simple side salad or garlic bread for a simple, filling meal perfect for the entire family!

Ingredients

1 clove garlic, minced

1 lb. ground beef, lean

1/2 c. diced onions

1/2 c. grated carrots

1/2 c. diced green pepper

1 tsp Italian seasoning

8 oz. cream cheese

12 oz. spaghetti

1 jar(s) of prepared spaghetti sauce (24 oz.)

1 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated

HOW TO MAKE BAKED CREAM CHEESE SPAGHETTI

In a pot, bring salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the noodles and cook for 8 minutes until al dente.

Once done, drain the water and rinse the noodles with cold water.

On the hot noodles, add the cream cheese and toss well.

Cook the ground beef in a pan over medium heat along with onions, grated carrots, garlic, and green peppers until the meat is browned and the veggies are tender. Then, stir in the Italian seasoning.

To the pan with the ground beef mixture, add the spaghetti sauce and stir well.

Grease the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex baking dish using cooking spray. On the bottom, spread a little amount of the hamburger mixture. On top, add the spaghetti and another layer of the hamburger mixture. Cover with Parmesan and Mozzarella cheese.

Bake in a preheated 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for about 30 minutes.

Take the dish out of the oven when done and let it cool for at least 3 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
