HOW TO MAKE BUFFALO HONEY HOT WINGS AND TRADITIONAL BUFFALO HOT WINGS
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F. Using foil, line a baking sheet. On top of the baking sheet, place a baking rack/oven-proof cooling rack, then lightly grease with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 2: Place the Rub ingredients in a medium bowl. Mix well. To a large freezer bag, add half of the Rub. To the bag, add half of the wings. Seal the bag and shake until the wings are evenly coated. On the prepared baking rack, line the wings, making sure they are not touching each other. To the freezer bag, add the rest of the Rub and wings and do the same.
Step 3: Place on the upper middle rack of the preheated oven and bake the wings for about 45 to 50 minutes. Then, transfer the rack to about 6 to 8 inches from the broiler and broil the wings to your preferred crispiness. Flip and continue to broil the other side until crispy.
Step 4: In the meantime, melt the butter on medium heat. Once melted, add the sauce ingredients. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring often. Once boiling, decrease to a simmer. Let the sauce simmer for about 3 to 5 minutes until a little thickened. Adjust the taste according to your preference. If you want the sauce to be spicier, add extra hot sauce or additional honey if you prefer it sweeter.
Step 5: To a large bowl, transfer the wings and pour the sauce on top. Toss gently using a spatula until the wings are evenly coated.
Step 6: Serve the hot wings right away with your favorite dip like Blue cheese/ranch Dip. Enjoy!
