CINNAMON CREAM CHEESE ROLL UPS RECIPE

These cinnamon cream cheese roll-ups are my daughter’s favorite! They are a simple and tasty breakfast treat. Flattened white bread, rolled and filled with a cream cheese and powdered sugar mixture, then coated in butter, cinnamon, and sugar. These roll-ups are the perfect breakfast!

Easy and super versatile. You are welcome to change up this recipe to suit your taste. Feel free to toss in some mini chocolate chips to the cream cheese filling. Chopped nuts are also an amazing addition. If desired, you can swap the white bread with wheat bread. For more of a fall flavor, you can add some nutmeg or pumpkin spice to the cinnamon sugar coating. And you can try using a different flavor of cream cheese. However you want your roll-ups, I’m sure that they are going to be amazing!

If you love a simple breakfast you can make without a fuss, you have to give these cinnamon cream cheese roll-ups a try. They are not only excellent for breakfast, but also a delicious snack or dessert.

Ingredients

5 1/2 ounces of cream cheese softened

1/2 c. powdered sugar

1 loaf of white bread in thin slices

1/2 c. butter, melted

3/4 c. sugar

1 tablespoon cinnamon

HOW TO MAKE CINNAMON CREAM CHEESE ROLL-UPS

Step 1: Start by cutting off the crust of the bread. Then, flatten using a rolling pin.

Step 2: Place the cream cheese and powdered sugar in a small bowl. Mix well until combined.

Step 3: Mix the sugar and cinnamon in another bowl. Set aside.

Step 4: Onto each flattened bread piece, spread about 1-1 1/2 tbsp of the cream cheese mixture. Then, roll the bread. Do the same for the rest of the bread pieces.

Step 5: Place in the oven and bake for about 16 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees until golden brown.

Step 6: Serve the cinnamon cream cheese roll-ups warm. Enjoy!
