Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds chicken breasts, sliced into tenders

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

2 cups crushed Frosted Flakes

3 tablespoons maple syrup, divided

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepper

How to make Frosted Flake Chicken Tenders

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees. Using foil, line a large, rimmed baking sheet, then top it with a cooling rack.

Step 2: Place the flour in a shallow bowl and season with salt and pepper.

Step 3: Whisk the eggs with 1 tbsp maple syrup in another bowl.

Step 4: Place the frosted flake crumbs in a third bowl and season with salt and pepper.

Step 5: In flour, dredge the chicken tenders. Coat in the egg mixture, then in the Frosted flakes.

Step 6: Place the breaded tenders on a rack. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until completely cooked and the coating is golden and crispy.

Step 7: Place the mustard and the rest of the maple syrup in a small bowl. Mix well until blended.
