I am seriously obsessed with beef and broccoli. This Asian-inspired dish has been a regular on our menu rotation. It’s easy and quick to make. Most of the ingredients you need are already available on hand. And the garlic sauce is amazing! This one-pot dinner makes the best weeknight meal, especially during busy days. It’s crazy delicious!
If you love anything beef and broccoli, you’ll undoubtedly love these garlic beef and broccoli noodles. The secret? Thinly slice the steak of your choice against the grain. Easy peasy!
Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
8 oz. flank steak, sliced against the grain
8 oz. wide rice noodles
¼ c. packed brown sugar
3 garlic cloves, minced
8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
1/2 c. reduced-sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
3 c. broccoli florets
¼ tsp ground ginger
¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
2 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp cornstarch
¼ tsp pepper
HOW TO MAKE GARLIC BEEF AND BROCCOLI NOODLES
Step 1: Following the package directions, cook the noodles in a large pot with boiling water. In the last 5 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli and cook until tender. Drain when done.
Step 2: In a medium-sized skillet, add the oil. Once hot, add the steak and sear until no longer pink. Then, add the garlic along with the mushrooms. Continue to cook for another minute.
Step 3: Place the brown sugar soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, ginger, red pepper, pepper, and cornstarch in a small bowl. Mix well until blended.
Step 4: To the skillet, add the noodles. On top, pour the sauce and toss until coated.
Step 5: Serve the garlic beef and broccoli noodles right away. Enjoy!
