INGREDIENTS

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp olive oil

4 pork chops, bone-in or boneless (about 1-inch thick)

Salt and fresh cracked black pepper, to taste

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

Mushroom sauce:

4-5 garlic cloves, crushed

1 c. sliced brown mushrooms

1 1/2 c. heavy cream

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 c. (125ml) chicken broth

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley

HOW TO MAKE GARLIC PORK CHOPS IN CREAMY MUSHROOM SAUCE

Step 1: In a small bowl, mix the paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Using kitchen paper, pat dries the pork chops. Generously season with the spice mix.

Step 2: In a skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Once the butter has melted, add the pork chops and sear for about 3 to 5 minutes on each side until well browned. To a warm plate, transfer the pork chops and set aside.

Step 3: Stir fry the mushrooms in the same skillet until golden brown, scraping the bottom of the skillet to release any leftover bits from the pork chops.

Step 4: Then, add the garlic along with the parsley and seasoning. Stir fry for additional 30 seconds. Add the broth followed by the cream. Stir and simmer for about 3 to 4 minutes or until the mixture is a little thickened. If needed, adjust the seasoning.

Step 5: Into the sauce, return the pork chops and their juices. Let everything simmer for another 2 to 3 minutes or until the pork chops are done.

Step 6: Serve the garlic pork chops right away with cauliflower rice, zucchini noodles, or pasta garnished with any leftover fresh parsley. Enjoy!
