Ingredients

1 lb Pork Tenderloin

Rub:

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp onion powder

1 tbsp fresh thyme, minced

1 tsp chili powder

1 tbsp fresh rosemary, minced

1 tbsp garlic salt

1 tbsp garlic pepper

Honey garlic sauce:

1 tbsp garlic, minced

½ c. honey

⅓ c. brown sugar

½ c. light soy sauce

1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water for slurry

⅓ c. orange juice

How to make Honey Garlic Roasted Pork Tenderloin

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F.

Step 2: After removing the fat from the pork, puncture the pork in a few places using a fork.

Step 3: In a small bowl, place the rub ingredients. Mix well until blended, then spread this all over the pork, pressing firmly.

Step 4: Melt the butter in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Once the butter has melted, add the pork and sear until just brown. Flip and sear the other side for about 2 minutes.

Step 5: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for about 20 minutes.

Step 6: Whisk the honey garlic sauce in a small saucepan except for the cornstarch and water. Stir and bring the mixture to a slight boil.

Step 7: To make the slurry, mix the cornstarch and water. Pour this into the sauce and stir until a little thickened. Take off the pan and set aside.

Step 8: With the honey garlic sauce, baste the pork. Set the oven to “HI” broil and broil the pork for about 3 minutes until the sauce is caramelized.

Step 9: Before serving, allow the pork tenderloin to rest for about 5 minutes, covered. Then, slice and garnish with rosemary and some fresh chopped thyme. Enjoy!
