INGREDIENTS
HONEY MUSTARD SALMON IN FOIL:
2 lbs side of salmon, boneless and skinless
1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley leaves
1 batch of honey mustard sauce
HONEY MUSTARD SAUCE:
4 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
1/3 c. whole grain mustard
1/4 c. honey
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp Kosher salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
HOW TO MAKE HONEY MUSTARD SALMON IN FOIL
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees F. Or heat the grill to medium heat.
Step 2: To make the honey mustard sauce, combine the sauce ingredients in a small bowl until well blended.
Step 3: Using a large sheet of aluminum foil, line a large baking sheet. Grease the foil using cooking spray. In the middle of the foil, lay out the salmon.
Step 4: On top of the salmon, spoon the honey mustard sauce and evenly spread it to cover the top of the salmon.
Step 5: Next, fold the sides of the aluminum foil up and over the top of the salmon until fully enclosed. You can place a second sheet of foil on top of the sheet, foil is not large enough and simply fold the edges to make a sealed packet.
Oven Instructions:
Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 14 to 15 minutes or until the salmon is completely cooked. Keep in mind that the cooking times of the salmon vary depending on their thickness. I suggest checking the salmon a couple of times.
Take the salmon out of the oven and very carefully open and pull the aluminum foil back. Set the oven to broil and broil the salmon for about 2 to 3 minutes.
Grill Instructions:
To the preheated grill, transfer the packet of salmon and grill for about 12 to 14 minutes until almost cooked through. Very carefully open the aluminum foil and pull it back. Grill the salmon for another 3 to 4 minutes until completely cooked.
Step 6: Before serving, evenly sprinkle the parsley on top. Enjoy the salmon right away!
NOTE:
You can increase the mustard to half a cup if desired and reduce the amount of honey.
