This lemon garlic sauteed cabbage is one of my favorite cabbage recipes! It is simple, quick, and delicious made with sauteed cabbage with fresh lemon and garlic.

Ingredients
1 1/2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
2 lbs white cabbage, core removed and shredded (10 c.)
1 tbsp garlic, minced
Pinch crushed red pepper flakes
Half of a lemon, cut into wedges
1/2 tsp fine sea salt or more to taste
How to make Lemon Garlic Sauteed Cabbage
Step 1: In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil on medium-high heat. Once hot, add the cabbage, garlic, red pepper flakes, and salt. Cook for about 10 to 15 minutes, stirring often until the cabbage is tender and some of the cabbage starts to turn light brown.
Step 2: Over the cabbage, squeeze the juice from 2 lemon wedges. Season with extra salt, pepper, and lemon juice according to taste.
TIPS:
Quarter the cabbage through its core. Cut out the core, then cut each in half a quarter crosswise. Finally, shred the cabbage finely. Rinse the cabbage, then spin/pat it very dry.
Onions are a great addition to this recipe. Add the onions at the same time as the cabbage.
