2 tbsp Olive Oil
2.5 lbs Chicken Thighs or Chicken Breasts
1 tbsp Lemon Pepper Seasoning
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tsp Garlic Powder
½ tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Salt
½ tsp Paprika
½ tsp Italian Seasoning
How to make Lemon Pepper Baked Chicken Thighs
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees. Using foil, line a large baking sheet. Set aside.
Step 2: Using paper towels, pat the chicken dry. On a baking sheet, place the chicken.
Step 3: In a small bowl, combine the olive oil and lemon juice. Then, drizzle this on top of the chicken. Rub well to coat all sides of the chicken.
Step 4: Place the lemon pepper seasoning, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and paprika in a different small bowl. Mix well until combined.
Step 5: Over the chicken, evenly sprinkle the spices.
Step 6: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 35 to 45 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees.
Step 7: Remove from the oven when done and serve the lemon pepper baked chicken thighs right away. Enjoy!
Notes:
For this recipe, I use bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs. I usually get around 6 to 8 pieces depending on the package. You can use chicken breasts instead, and it will be about 4 large pieces.
