Ingredients
¼ c. Heavy Cream
300 grams Potatoes
2 tablespoons Cornstarch plus more for coating
½ teaspoon Chicken Stock Powder
Oil for frying
½ teaspoon Black pepper
½ teaspoon Salt
How to make Long Mashed Potato Fries
Step 1: Into 8 parts, cut each potato. Fry them until golden.
Step 2: Into a bowl, transfer the fried potatoes. Using a potato masher, mash the potatoes until smooth.
Step 3: Add the cornstarch to the mashed potatoes along with the chicken stock powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well. Pour in the heavy cream and mix again until blended. Into a ball, form the mixture.
Step 4: Sprinkle about 1 tbsp cornstarch on a clean table. Using a rolling pin, roll the potato mixture to about 30 x 15 cm and 1 cm thick.
Step 5: Into 1 x 15 cm, cut each long potato fry and sprinkle with cornstarch.
Step 6: On medium-high heat, fry the long potato fries until golden brown.
Step 7: Serve the long mashed potato fries right away with ketchup or mayonnaise. Enjoy!
