These magic bars are an amazing gooey treat with coconut, chocolate chips, nuts, and a graham cracker base. This recipe is not only easy but is also pretty versatile. Whip this up soon and watch your little ones devour this delicious treat! You could also keep any leftovers or extras in the fridge or freezer for later.

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs

1/2 c. unsalted butter, melted

1 c. semisweet chocolate chips

1 c. sweetened or unsweetened flaked or shredded coconut

1-14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk

1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans

How to make Magic Bars

Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat it to 350 degrees F. In the middle of the oven, position the oven rack. Using butter or non-stick cooking spray, lightly grease a 9 x 9-inch square baking pan.

Step 2: On the bottom of the prepared pan, evenly pour the melted butter. On top, evenly sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs.

Step 3: Over the crumbs, sprinkle the coconut followed by the chocolate chips, then the nuts.

Step 4: Over the ingredients, drizzle the sweetened condensed milk. DO NOT MIX.

Step 5: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center of the squares comes out clean.

Step 6: Take the pan out of the oven when done and onto a wire rack. Let the bars cool before slicing them into squares. Keep them in the fridge or freeze them for later.

Notes:

For this recipe, you are free to mix and match any kind of nut and chips. If desired, you can toss in Butterscotch chips or White chocolate chips.

If preferred, you can use walnuts instead of pecans. Keep in mind that softer, fattier nuts such as pecans, walnuts, and cashews are best to use for this recipe.
