2 c. water

1 c. jarred mild salsa

1/2 tsp salt

Pinch of black pepper

Optional toppings – chopped tomatoes, avocado, crushed tortilla chips, chopped cilantro

8 oz. uncooked rotini pasta

1 1/2 c. shredded Mexican-style cheese

HOW TO MAKE ONE-POT CHEESY TACO PASTA

Step 1: Over medium heat, preheat a large deep skillet. Once hot, add the ground beef and sprinkle with salt & pepper. Cook while stirring often, until the meat is completely cooked. Drain the grease when done.

Step 2: Into the ground beef, stir in the taco seasoning. Pour in the water. Then, add the salsa and pasta noodles. Bring everything to a boil.

Step 3: Stir well. Put the lid on and decrease the heat to a simmer. Continue to cook for another 15 minutes until the pasta is tender.

Step 4: Once done, turn the heat off and add the cheese. Stir well. If needed, season with extra salt and pepper.

Step 5: If desired, serve the cheesy taco pasta with optional toppings (chopped tomatoes, avocado, crushed tortilla chips, chopped cilantro). Enjoy!
