Ready in about 30 minutes, this easy and scrumptious cheesy taco pasta packed with ground beef and loads of shredded cheese is an amazing one-pot dinner! Taco Tuesday will never be complete without this on the menu.
To make this cheesy taco pasta, all you need are just a couple of simple ingredients. Ingredients I am sure you already have on hand. Throw this together in a cinch and enjoy a Mexican-inspired dinner any time!

Ingredients
1 oz. packet taco seasoning (or about 3 1/2 tbsp homemade taco seasoning)
1 lb. ground beef
2 c. water
1 c. jarred mild salsa
1/2 tsp salt
Pinch of black pepper
Optional toppings – chopped tomatoes, avocado, crushed tortilla chips, chopped cilantro
8 oz. uncooked rotini pasta
1 1/2 c. shredded Mexican-style cheese
HOW TO MAKE ONE-POT CHEESY TACO PASTA
Step 1: Over medium heat, preheat a large deep skillet. Once hot, add the ground beef and sprinkle with salt & pepper. Cook while stirring often, until the meat is completely cooked. Drain the grease when done.
Step 2: Into the ground beef, stir in the taco seasoning. Pour in the water. Then, add the salsa and pasta noodles. Bring everything to a boil.
Step 3: Stir well. Put the lid on and decrease the heat to a simmer. Continue to cook for another 15 minutes until the pasta is tender.
Step 4: Once done, turn the heat off and add the cheese. Stir well. If needed, season with extra salt and pepper.
Step 5: If desired, serve the cheesy taco pasta with optional toppings (chopped tomatoes, avocado, crushed tortilla chips, chopped cilantro). Enjoy!
