This is the best-baked pork tenderloin! It’s impressively crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. Well-seasoned pork tenderloin that’s been baked to perfection! Serve with creamy potatoes, macaroni salad, or with your favorite salad on the side for a restaurant-quality dinner at home!

Ingredients

2 tsp Italian seasoning

1 or 2 ½ lb pork tenderloins

2-3 tbsp fresh lemon, lime, or orange juice – (or 1 tbsp of each)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tbsp oil

1 tsp cumin

¼ tsp black pepper

1 tsp salt

1 tsp chili powder

½ tsp smoked paprika – (optional but highly recommended)

How to make Pork Tenderloin

Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F. Ready a large baking/casserole dish. Lightly grease and set aside.

Using a fork, pierce the tenderloins and rub all sides with oil.

Mix the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, cumin, salt, chili powder, smoked paprika (if using), and black pepper until well blended. Sprinkle this on the tenderloins, patting the mixture on all sides of the meat. Place the meat into the prepared baking dish. On top, drizzle the lemon/lime juice.

Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 25 to 35 minutes or until browned and crispy.

Over the meat, spoon the juices from the pan. In the baking dish or on a cutting board, let the meat rest for about 5 to 10 minutes. Then, slice into 1-inch pieces. Over the slices, spoon the rest of the pan juices. If desired, garnish with some fresh chopped cilantro.

Serve right away. Enjoy!

Note:

For this recipe, you can use 1-2 very small pork tenderloins or 1 medium-large. You can even double or triple the seasoning ingredients if serving a crowd and using very large tenderloins.
