Super simple and a very delightful apple dessert that you can easily make in your slow cooker. This is the perfect recipe for people who love apple desserts, but do not have time to spend too much time in the kitchen.
For this recipe, I suggest using a large slow cooker. I love using Gala apples. I like the combination of tartness and sweetness. But you are welcome to experiment with different varieties if desired.

How to make Slow Cooker Apple Pudding Cake
Step 1: Place the all-purpose flour, 2/3 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Mix well until combined.
Step 2: Into the flour mixture, cut the cold butter until the mixture has coarse crumbs. Whisk in the milk until the mixture has moistened.
Step 3: Using nonstick cooking spray, grease the bottom and sides of the slow cooker. Into the bottom of the greased slow cooker, spoon the batter, evenly spreading it out. Over the batter, evenly place the diced apples.
Step 4: Whisk the orange juice, honey, the rest of the sugar, melted butter, and ground cinnamon in a medium-sized bowl until well-mixed. Over the apples, pour the honey mixture.
Step 5: Over the opening of the crock pot, place a paper towel. Put the lid on and set to cook for 2 to 3 hours on high heat or until the apples are tender.
