Vanilla Magic Custard Cake

Prep Time: 15 mins | Cook Time: 45 mins | Yield: 10 slices

Soft and creamy, Vanilla Magic Custard Cake is a delight to eat. Definitely give this three-layer cake a go. The greatest vanilla cake has a vanilla filling that is similar to a custard and sits between the cake’s top and bottom layers.

This cake is seriously easy to whip up with just a couple of simple ingredients. I made this already twice this month, and my family still cannot get enough!

If you love custard cake, this Vanilla Magic Custard Cake is a must-try! Incredibly Soft, creamy, melt-in-you-mouth tripped layered cake perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

2 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 c. unsalted butter-melted and slightly cooled

1 1/4 c, (150 grams) powdered sugar

1 c. (115 grams) flour

2 c. milk-lukewarm

powdered sugar for dusting

4 eggs-separated

1 tbsp water

How to make Vanilla Magic Custard Cake

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 325 degrees F.

Step 2: Ready an 8 x 8-inch baking dish. Lightly grease and set aside.

Step 3: Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Set aside.

Step 4: Mix the egg yolks with powdered sugar until the mixture becomes pale yellow. Stir in the melted butter and about 1 tbsp water until completely blended. This takes about 2 minutes. Add the flour and beat until evenly blended. Gradually whisk in the milk and vanilla extra until well mixed. Lastly, fold in the egg whites, 1/3 at a time.

Step 5: Into the prepared baking pan, pour the batter. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 40 to 60 minutes or until the center of the cake is barely jiggly. Tent the cake with aluminum foil if the top browns too quickly.
Note: The baking time varies depending on the oven, so I suggest checking after 40 minutes of baking.

Step 6: Remove from the oven when done, and let the cake cool fully before dusting it with powdered sugar.
